The Quilter's Corner Club First Annual Retreat is scheduled for April
7th through 13th 2008, at the Canaan Valley Resort located in Davis, West Virginia In the beautiful Allegheny mountains! (Registration form is posted below)
Registration is now open to QCC members. Members also recieve a discount on the retreat package. Registration will be open until all spaces are filled, but those
who register early recieve a great discount! So you may wish to move quickly and ensure your space at the retreat. This is
a full week vacation filled with many classes, workshops, and a TON of fun activities and prizes (listed below) :) everything
is optional, you choose what you want to do during your time here. Classes will be open for registration on a first
pay first choice basis.
One Lucky retreat goer will be the winner
of a new Bernina Sewing Machine!!! Everyone attending will have a chance to win this awesome prize!!! Compliments
of Bernina, and Sew Chic Quilt Shop in WV.
We will be staying in the lovely cottages and cabins at the resort, and be in
a 'home away from home' atmosphere. These cottages and cabins have seperate bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, and fully
equipped kitchens.
During our time here at the resort we have these activities planned:

-Book/Pattern/Magazine exchange

-Scavenger Hunt (Quilty Prizes)

-"Strip Poker" (hehehe using fabric strips of course)

-Challenges
And more :) this is going to be a very fun and exciting
adventure for quilters!!!
"Sew Chic" will be setting up a vendor booth for us, so we can shop away, over the Thursday - Saturday period!!
Plus many many features of the resort and beautiful area attractions! Waterfalls,
local Horseback riding, boating, fishing, hiking, as well as we all have full access to the indoor lap pool, sauna, excersise
rooms, and whirlpool spa
and massage therepy sessions are available by appointment!! Check the resort
