~Clue 5 – A ***Take the Half Square Triangle Squares from Clue 1 and separate them into 2 groups Call one pile of 4 (D) and Call one pile of 8 (E)...

 

~Clue 5 – B ***From Pile D sew 2 units together scrappy sides aligning to form a flying geese unit. Repeat. You should have 2 flying geese units...

~Clue 5 – C ***Sew two 2 1/2 " squares BG together to form a rectangle. Repeat. You should have 2 – 2 ½" x 4 ½" rectangles...

(5- B&C)

 

~Clue 5 – D ***Sew unit from clue (5-B) and unit (5–C) together Background sides touching. Repeat. You should have 2 – 4 ½" square units that we will call Unit D from now on...

~Clue 5 – E ***Sew one unit from Pile E to one 2 ½" square Background sides touching. Repeat for all of Pile E. You should have 8 2 ½" x 4 ½" rectangles...

~Clue 5 – F ***Sew 2 ½" x 4 ½" Background rectangle to the units from Clue 5 E Background sides touching. Repeat for all E units. You should have 8 4 ½" square units which we will now call Unit E...

~Clue 5 – G ***Sew 2 – 1 1/2"x 3 1/2" BG strip to either end of the 1 1/2"x14 1/2" Black (unless you are doing the background Black then it should be Grey) unit. You should have a 1 ½" x 20 ½" rectangle. This is Called Unit F...
